Thomas Miller

Thomas Miller is an experienced criminal defense attorney and civil litigator. On the criminal side, he has defended clients charged with firearm, drug-related, and sexual offenses. He has tried cases before juries for both the prosecution and the defense, as well as negotiating numerous plea deals. In his civil practice, he has represented employees and students in litigation against their employers and schools and obtained significant settlements.

Before joining Gelber + Santillo PLLC, Mr. Miller worked at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein, a boutique law firm in Boston, and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He has argued multiple cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and is a member of the panel of private attorneys handling appeals and post-conviction matters for indigent defendants in Massachusetts state courts. He also has experience in pro bono representation of clients in immigration proceedings.

Mr. Miller clerked for Justice Frank Gaziano of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He received his J.D. from Stanford University. He also holds a Ph.D. in Classics from Princeton University and an A.B. in Classics, summa cum laude, from Harvard College. Before going to law school, he taught college students for several years and remains involved in Classical scholarship.
